General Terms & Conditions: 
  1. Promotion period is valid from 1 June to 31 August 2009 (based on the transaction date) (“Promotion Period”).
  2. The following promotion is only applicable to principal and supplementary cardholders of MEVAS Credit Card (‘Cardholder’), but not applicable to Debit Card, Cash Card, Corporate Card, Purchasing Card, Spending Card, CUP Card, Business Card, Gift Card, Private Label Card and Balance Transfer Account.
  3. All cash rebate or credit card free spending credit rewards during the promotion will be credited to the eligible Cardholders designated MEVAS credit card account directly in form of spending credit rebate within 8 weeks after the Promotion Period. 
  4. Cardholder should maintain valid MEVAS Credit Card during the entire Promotion Period and at the time the cash rebate is given, and need to maintain good credit record, and the relevant transactions must be posted. Otherwise, MEVAS Bank (“the Bank”) reserves the right to forfeit the prize without prior notice.
  5. All rewards cannot be transferred or used to redeem any cash or other rewards.
  6. In the event that any registered valid transaction(s) is/are cancelled or reversed after Cardholders have received any rewards of the Promotion, the Bank will debit the equivalent value of the rewards against Cardholder’s credit card account immediately without prior notice.
  7. Cardholders must keep all original sales slips. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to request Cardholder to submit the relevant original sales slip and/or further documents or evidence for inspection. All sales slip submitted to the Bank will not be returned.
  8. Each valid transaction cannot be used in conjunction with any other Bank’s promotion.  
  9. The employees and their family members of the Bank are not eligible for the promotion.
  10. The Bank reserves the right to cancel the promotional program or amend the terms and conditions at anytime without prior notice. Should any dispute arise, the decision of the Bank shall be final.
  11. In the event of any discrepancy between the Chinese version and English version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
 
Terms & Conditions for Credit Card Instant Lucky Draw (‘Lucky Draw’):
  1. The spending promotion period is valid from 1 June to 31 August 2009 (based on the transaction date) (‘Spending Period’). Lucky Draw period is valid from 19 June to 12 September 2009. (‘Lucky Draw Period’)
  2. Cardholders who spend HK$800 or above (based on one single valid transaction) with MEVAS Credit Card within the Spending Period, will entitle to 1 lucky draw chance.
  3. Valid transaction includes local retail purchase transactions and the bill payment transactions via MEVAS e-banking Payment Service only. Transactions are not eligible which include but not limited to overseas spending (include transactions made in Mainland China, Macau etc), cash advance, online transactions, mail and telephone purchase orders, balance transfer, Autopay, recurring billing transactions (e.g. Octopus Automatic Add Value), Jetso Installment, Cash-in Plan, Interest-free Installment Plan, casino transactions, Bank fees and service charges (including but not limited to annual fee, financial charge and cash advance handling fee etc), cheque payment, transactions cancelled/refunded or without sales slip and any unauthorized transactions. 
  4. Cardholders are required to call our 24-Hour Lucky Draw Hotline to perform the lucky draw. Only 1 draw can be performed for every valid transaction, if the Cardholder registers more than once with the same valid transaction, only the first eligible draw result will be counted as a valid draw record. The rest of the draws will not be eligible for any award. Any registration by entering incorrect information will be treated as an invalid draw, but it will be counted towards to the draw cap of the credit card.   
  5. The Lucky Draw Hotline will be opened on 19 June 2009 and will be closed on 12 September 2009 11:59pm. The respective MEVAS Credit Card number, transaction date (DD/MM/YY) and transaction amount (no decimal place of the amount should be entered) must be provided to perform the draw. Cardholder will not be entitled to any reward if they are unable to perform the draw successfully during the Lucky Draw Period. 
  6. Only 1 draw will be given by computer for each valid transaction on a random basis. The Lucky Draw, once conducted, cannot be cancelled, changed or reversed. Draw result will be announced instantly and Cardholder must record down the reference number as verification purpose. Notwithstanding the above, the draw result and the reference number should NOT be construed as a confirmation by the Bank of the eligibility in that Lucky Draw.
  7. A maximum cap of 5 draws will be carried per single telephone call. Each MEVAS Credit Card is entitled to a maximum cap of 15 lucky draw chances. The Bank will verify the validity of the Cardholder’s record against the Bank’s record. If there is any discrepancy, the record of the Bank shall be final and conclusive and related reward may be forfeited without prior notice.
 
Terms & Conditions for up to 100% Billing Amount Rebate (“Bill Payment Rewards”) Lucky Draw:
  1. Promotion period is valid from 1 June to 31 August 2009 (based on the bill payment transaction date).
  2. Cardholders, who settle any bills with MEVAS Credit Card within the Promotion Period, will entitle to 1 lucky draw chance for Bill Payment Rewards.
  3. Eligible transaction includes the bill payment transactions via MEVAS e-banking Payment Service only. All other bill payment transactions using any other payment methods are not eligible. Transactions are not eligible which include but not limited to local and overseas spending (include transactions made in Mainland China, Macau etc), cash advance, online transactions, mail and telephone purchase orders, balance transfer, Autopay, recurring billing transactions (e.g. Octopus Automatic Add Value), Jetso Installment, Cash-in Plan, Interest-free Installment Plan, casino transactions, Bank fees and service charges (including but not limited to annual fee, financial charge and cash advance handling fee etc), cheque payment, transactions cancelled/refunded or without sales slip and any unauthorized transactions. 
  4. All eligible transaction will be automatically entered into the Bill Payment Rewards lucky draw. Bill Payment Rewards will have 6 separate cut-off phases during the Promotion Period (1-15/6, 16-30/6, 1-15/7, 16-31/7, 1-15/8 and 16-31/8). All successfully processed bill payment transactions (based on the Bill Payment transaction date) will be consolidated once per every phase according to the Bank’s record, the record consolidated by each phase will not be accumulated to the next phase. 30 successfully processed bill payment records (5 records for each phase) will be drawn out by computer on a random basis at the end of the Promotion Period and the bill payment amount will be fully rebated or at a maximum cap of HK$1,000 cash rebate for each billing amount rebate’s rewards of the designated bill (whichever is lower) the awarded customers of Billing Payment Rewards will be advised on or before November 15, 2009.
