From now until 31 December 2010, you can relish “5X Bonus Points/Cash Rebate” when dining at any local eateries with MEVAS Credit Card. Indulge in the delectable food and the best dining spending rewards whenever you are dining out!

Terms and Conditions for 5X Dining Spending Rewards Promotion ("Promotion")
  • Promotional period is from 14 August to 31 December 2010 (based on transaction date). 
  • This promotion is applicable to MEVAS Credit Card and its Co-branded Card only(Unless otherwise specified)(“Eligible Cards”).
  • This promotion is not applicable to Dah Sing co-branded airline credit cards, MEVAS - “My Favorite Merchant” Credit Card, Dah Sing RMB Credit Card, Dah Sing Business Card, Dah Sing China Union Pay Corporate Credit Card, MEVAS Debit Card, Cash Card, Corporate Card, Purchasing Card, Affinity Card, MEVAS Gift Card and Private Label Card).
  • Transactions made by both Principal and Supplementary Credit Cardholder(s) of the same Credit Card Account are counted separately.     
  • Cardholder must settle the payment with any of Eligible Cards at the local dining merchants during the promotional period will entitle to receive 5X Dining Spending Bonus Points/Cash Rebate (the “Rewards”)
  • Only posted transactions with physical sales slips (“Eligible Transaction) effected during the promotional period at the local dining merchants are eligible for this Promotion. Transactions with cancelled/refunded or without sales slips and unauthorized transactions will not qualify as Eligible Transaction.
  • Eligible transaction excludes spending on any of hotel food & beverage outlet, banquets, wedding banquets, private parties, deposit of any banquet or VIP rooms, merchants in department stores/associations/clubhouses, or other merchants as determined by MEVAS Bank from time to time.    
  • Cardholders must keep all original sales slip(s). In case of any dispute, MEVAS Bank reserve the right to request Cardholder to submit the relevant original sales slip(s) and/or further documents or evidence for inspection. All sales slips submitted to MEVAS Bank will not be returned.
  • For “Bonus Point Reward” Credit Card Cardholder(s):  From this Promotion, Cardholder is eligible to receive a maximum up to 25,000 Bonus Points per month (basic bonus point reward is excluded) for 5X Dining Spending Bonus Points .
  • For “Cash Rebate”Credit Card Cardholder(s): From this Promotion, Cardholder is eligible to receive a maximum up to HK$100 Cash Rebate per month (basic cash rebate is excluded) for 5X Dining Spending Cash Rebate.
  • If Cardholders change the reward scheme during the promotional period, MEVAS Bank will calculate the Rewards according to the records in MEVAS Bank’s system at the time the Rewards are calculated.
  • The Rewards for Eligible Transaction posted during the period of Aug - Oct 2009, Nov – Dec 2009 will be credited automatically into Cardholder’s relevant Credit Card account by Dec 2009 and Feb 2010 respectively, and shown on the monthly statement.
  • The Rewards for Eligible Transaction posted during the period of Jan - Mar 2010, Apr – Jun 2010, Jul – Sept 2010 and Oct – Dec 2010 will be credited automatically into Cardholder’s relevant Credit Card account by May 2010, Aug 2010, Nov 2010 and Feb 2011 respectively, and shown on the monthly statement.
  • The Reward Bonus Points/Cash Rebate will be rounded to the nearest integer.
  • Where any Bonus Points/Cash Rebate has been credited to a Credit Card account and there is a subsequent reversal of any transaction(s) used to determine the Rewards amount, the relevant Cardholder is required to reimburse the Bank for the whole amount of the relevant Bonus Points/Cash Rebate. MEVAS Bank will charge the relevant amount directly to the Credit Card account without prior notice
  • Only Cardholders whose credit card accounts are valid and in good standing during the promotional period and rewards fulfillment period will be eligible for the Rewards.  Otherwise, MEVAS Bank reserve the right to forfeit the Bonus Points/Cash Rebate without prior notice.
  • The rewarded Bonus Points / Cash Rebates cannot be converted to cash or withdrawn as a cash advance. Also it is not transferable. And the rewarded Cash Rebate can only be used for credit card purchases and cannot be used to settle credit card outstanding balance.
  • MEVAS Bank reserve the right to cancel the promotional program or amend the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • Should any dispute arises, the decision of MEVAS Bank shall be final.
