1. How can I use Price Alert Service?

Price Alert Services is applicable only to the customers of Streaming Stock Quotes Service or Real-time Snapshot Stock Quotes Service.

 
2. What is the service charge(s) of the Price Alert Service?
Customers of " Real Time Stock Quotes" Services Service charges of "Price Alert Service"
Customers of "Streaming Stock Quotes Service" Free of charge
Customer of "Real-time Snapshot Stock Quotes Service" For every successful alert sent out, 1 snapshot stock quote will be deducted from the customer’s account. If there is insufficient quote in the customer’s account to be deducted by making alert service, HK$0.1 will be charged for every additional alert.
   
3. What are the monitoring periods of the Price Alert Service?
  Monitoring periods:
Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
2:30 p.m. to 4:25 p.m.
   
4. How long will the Price Alert Service be valid?
  The validation for monitoring records is 7 calendar days, that is, all alerted or monitoring records in the table will be deleted after 7 calendar days.
   
5. What are the alert criteria for the Price Alert Service?
 

You can choose the below alert criteria for the Price Alert Service:

  • Bid – If the nominal price equals or is lower than your input bid price, the alert will be sent out.
  • Ask – If the nominal price equals or higher than your input ask price, the alert will be sent out.
  • Price Change – If the change of nominal price which compares with previous close is higher or lower (depends on your setting) than your input Price change, the price alert will be sent out.
  • % Price Change – If the percentage change of nominal price which compares with previous close is higher or lower (depends on your setting) than your input % , the alert will be sent out.
  • olume – If the number of shares that has been transacted meets your input volume, the alert will be sent out.
