Can I check, amend or cancel an order via the i-Securities Services?

You can amend or cancel any order that has not yet been fully executed. You may go to “Trade”→ ”Order” (Java version) / “Order Status” (HTML version) of the trading platform to find your order & then click “Amend” or “Cancel” and input the modified price and / or quantity. Then, please also enter the correct MEVAS PIN and click “Proceed”. After confirming the updated details, simply click “Confirm”.

What can be modified for placed order(s) ?

You can modify the order price and / or order quantity, but the newly-input quantity should include those already executed quantity (if any). Please also be reminded that for the increasing order quantity or amending order price, outstanding quantity will be queued as a new order..

For the Enhanced Limit Order Amendment on the order price or increase of the order quantity during the trading hour, the original order will be cancelled while a new Enhanced Limit Order will be placed .

Can I amend or cancel any buy/sell order?

You can amend or cancel any orders that are not yet executed via the i-Securities Services or the Manned Customer Service Hotline. For securities trading via designated branch, you can only amend or cancel the order placed in that specific branch.

Please note the followings for any amendment or cancellation:

In case a new amendment instruction is given before the execution of the previous amendment instruction, the bank will only perform your latest instruction.

After a cancellation instruction is made , you can neither recall that cancellation instruction nor submit an amendment instruction.

From 9:50 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. of a Trade day (for queuing at-auction limit order)		HKEx AMS/3 Trading System will not accept any amendment/cancellation instruction. Any amendment/cancellation instruction received within the period will be sent to market after 10:00 a.m.
From 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. of a Trade day		HKEx AMS/3 Trading System will not accept any cancellation instruction. Any cancellation instruction received within the period will be handled at 2:00 p.m.
From 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. of a Trade day		HKEx AMS/3 Trading System will not accept any amendment instruction. Any amendment instruction received within the period will be handled at 2:30 p.m.
System interruption and exceptional orders which cannot be handled by AMS/3 include but are not limited to: odd lots, order price better than market price, prices below $0.01, quantities over 3000 lots, and, etc.		The bank reserves the right to accept any amendment or cancellation instruction.
